I have 2 Klipsch Heritage 2.1 systems and a Sound Blaster Z sound card. I want both 2.1 systems to get the full power but it seems like the rear channel jack is not giving as much juice as the front channel jack is (maybe b/c it's meant to power a 2.1 and rear up to 2.0?), the rear 2.1 system is much quieter and the sub does not hit nearly as hard.

My question is how to resolve the issue and get full power to both systems? Is there a soundcard that would support 4.2?

Looking for any guidance, thanks!

When you plug a 2.1 system into the rear jack the subwoofer is just playing any bass that would have come out of the left/right rear speakers, it's not actually some discrete bass channel for overall bass.

So if you're just playing music and it's only coming out the front you're not going to get any bass coming out of the rear sub.

How many discrete outputs do you have? Are the front speakers just using L/R or also the discrete Center/Sub jack?

If the crossover is in the speaker system and you're not able to run both subs off the same sub output, then check your speaker settings - you may have the rear speakers set to be small/sat speakers and Windows might be rolling off the bass it sends to them.

nope, 4.2 doesnt exist in the pc world, its doesnt really exit in the real world either. get a splitter and connect both to the front output jack, best youre gonna get.

4.1 or 5.1 with a ghost center is a thing but it depends on his speakers and sound card

there is a front output that does 2.1, I have the software set to do L/R and ghost center channel. rear output is L/R only. attached a pic of the card w/ outputs shown

no way to retain the surround sound? Ideally would like the front and rear accounted for. Just wanted to double up on subs lol

yes but it will quiet down like youve already said you dont want. i guess you could play with the speakers volume to bring the backs up.
