You're probably best off just putting in the Windows install disk, going into setup and reformatting and reinstalling.

if you read, he cant even do that

test the ram with http://www.memtest86.com make sure to get the ISO so it boots from a cd ;)

Running memtest now as we speak, it tells me pc info in upper left corner...........Athlon 64, 1 cache 2 cache and memory size but where it says chipset it is blank could that be a problem? I do recall a little glitch when installing the drivers from cd that came with mobo.

So far so good though as far as test goes, at 65%

na, its not a prob. it doesnt read my processor right either ;) at least i dont remember it did

Ok how many times does this test run through? It went through once and 0 errors and it says 1 pass and it started up again, how long does a full test take?

Well it got like 1/2 way through second test I guess it would be and I went down to put side of case on and I dont know if I hit something but the thing restarted and started the test over. WTF!

Then it got all the way to 98% again on the first test and locked up,just sat there had to hit reset button and the test started again. Something is out of wack bigtime.

Ok memtest found a couple errors on one of the sticks of memory from newegg so those are both going back. I'm testing the stuff I bought today and this first stick has done a cycle of tests and found 0 errors and it's going through it again, is it running the same test over and over or how long will this whole thing take. Seems like this stuff is ok, why won't the damn pc boot then?

let it go all 6 test

No what I mean is there are 7 tests and it takes like 12 minutes to do the 7. It has gone through them twice now and no errors. It is just doing the same group of tests each time then?
