Ok, I was painting my case and some paint seeped through the tape and got on the acrylic screen. How do I remove this without damaging the screen?

What type/brand of paint? Different paints have different removal strategies.

If the paint's fresh and hasn't bonded well yet, you might be able to peel it off carefully. A really sharp blade (razor or X-acto) might help.

A paint solvent may damage the acrylic, so avoid that. Some relatively neutral solvents like Varsol might remove paint without (much) damage to the acrylic. Expect some fogging (loss of gloss) with this.

Mild solvents like alcohol will probably work with enough elbow grease, but that might still cause some abrasion to the acrylic.

You might have to resort to polishing the acrylic to return the finish regardless of what you try.

What solvent do you use to polish the acrylic? And BTW thank you

You don't use a solvent - you use a polishing compound. Look for polishing compounds for clear plastic. Novus is a popular brand.
