Need help please

I messed up windows activation in regedit for windows XP on drive C:...I cant get into XP any more. I can log onto drive D: that has xp64 on it. Is there any way to get into regedit for XP on drive C in xp64 on D?

I haven't done it this way in a while, but there may be an option, when you boot from the XP CD, and follow instructions for a repair install, to repair the registry. I'm guess you didn't make a backup of the registry before mucking around in there?

I agree with djnes that a repair install is your only option at this point. It will restore the bunged keys.
