I need a cheap video capture device that uses either a PCI or USB interface. The only requirement, it has to have component RWY. Basically, I want to hook my old Playstation2 up to my computer and use my monitor and speakers. I see a few devices on newegg ~$30, but comments show extremes on both sides, positive and negatives. If you have one for sale, send me a PM, I'll take quality used over unknown new any day of the week.

**edit** Needs to be Windows 7 Ultimate x64 compatible.

Newegg reviews are useless, don't let them fool you.

Sample newegg post: 0/5 stars, this gtx 580 doesn't fit in my AGP slot!!!!

Tech level; 10/10, Very high.

ROFL, good point. Which is why I came here to get suggestions from people who actually WORK with technology.

If I were you I'd post a WTB thread and see what offers roll in.

You never know.

That was my next step. My hopes is that I find suggestions for decent ones and possibly ones to avoid, so that I don't get someone trying to pass their trash back to me for a quick buck.

Try google or searching through old threads?

I would help, but I know nothing about this topic.

You should also be aware that this tends to add an amount of latency in the video, as for how much I'm not sure.
