Ok i got a build and case question reason im asking here cuz experts at cases come here
These are my choisees
1600 build Antec900 ATI2870x2 with xtreme gamer audio build
OR
1600 SILVERSTONE TJ09 ATI3870X2 without xtreme gamer audio
OR
1400 ANTEC 900 8800gts

Which build is best now i know your all gona say get the antec 900 cuz it has more fans and cheaper. Well i like the all alum/sexy look of TJ09 the question i have is will it cool as well if i add 2 120mn fans at the top, and Is the 3870x2 better in performance then the 8000gts worth the extra 200 bucks? Im planing on playing high/max settings crysis dx9, and I NEED 100fps in UT3 cuz i play that game competitively, and im just picky like that my res would be 1440x900 Lastly is the extrme gamer really have alot better sound then normal i will be getting the x38 ASUS mobo P5KE, i have a really nice headset, and wana take full advantage of it its the ICEMAT/STEAL sound siberias. And one final question is im planing on getting the tuiq tower I only buy from newegg, they don't have the thermal right in stock so is the teniq tower the next best choice? I have a Q6600 that im going to get over clocking to 3.0-3.4ghz, also will it fit in these cases.
 
Unless you're doing serious overclocking, any of those cases will be just fine. Despite impressions you may get around here, having 5 fans instead of 2 doesn't make a very big difference. A given processor will have the same performance regardless of whether it's at 30C or 50C. As long as the heatsink keeps the CPU below the maximum temperature when it's under full load, you're good. Some heatsinks can perform this function for faster processors than others, and heatsinks vary in sound levels, so pick one that meets your needs.

As for the video card, it sounds like you have a good idea of your performance requirements. Take those requirements in hand and go find a card that meets them. For competitive UT3 play, you might consider dropping the detail levels to a minimum and using your monitor's native resolution. This will not only improve your framerate significantly, it will also reduce the amount of distracting detail--it's a lot easier to see a bad guy across the map if the background scenery is a plain surface than, say, a detailed jungle.
 
I'd say the Antec 900 is more for 1) a gamer looking for very good aircooling at the expense of noise and 2) the masses looking for a good case at a good price. Good case but not for me because it's loud, is a dust magnet and, well, ugly as sin.

The TJ09 is not for everyone and it's nearly $300 price tag will certainly scare off a fair number of people. It's not the easiest case to work with and it is not the most functional one out there either. But it certainly is a great balance of style, quality, form and function. And did I mention it looks really good? ;)
 
I'll throw out the Lian-Li V1xxx / V1xxxB series. They can be had for around $200, have plenty of space for most builds, look classy and perform very well.

I'm a newly converted Lian-Li fan. I thought that the price was insane, but after picking up a V2000B Plus II for my latest rebuild (admittedly, second-hand) I now "get what all the fuss is about."

Had the V1000b plus II and V2100a Plus II for a short time . . . great looking cases but hated the fact that I couldn't use the TRUE 120 w/ my 780i mobo. Never even built a system in the v2100 b/c I knew I couldn't fit the TRUE 120 in there the way it was meant to be installed. I think the v2100 would've been an awesome case with the room and sound dampening . . . I just couldn't understand why they didn't allocate just 1 more stinkin' inch for the motherboard area when the lower PSU/HDD has sooooo much room to spare?!?!?!?!
 
I'm personally wishing there was more space up above the motherboard, as I'm going to have clearance issues with my radiator and my second 8800 GTX that will require relocating a ton of stuff. It will not be fun, and I do not at all look forward to it. Not even a little bit.
 
Not bad . . . but somewhat ironic that it needed 3x Silverstone drive bay units to achieve that look. Why not just go straight to the source and buy the Silverstone case? ;)

Yeah, tell me about it. You'll need to use 2 goddamned L elbows for the top card/radiator barb.

It isn't even going to work with that unless I mount the fans outside of the case... and that defeats the entire purpose of getting this case, so instead I'll be running a 2x120 in a 3x120 hole on top, and losing my final remaining HDD rack to mount the 3x120 on the bottom. Figures.
