I currently have a Linksys E2000. I'll be giving it to a friend who is moving to a new apartment. I want to replace it with something else. I like the idea of DD-WRT and would like something that is well-supported. The Buffalo routers like the WHR-HP-G300n looks like a nice unit but there are a lot of very negative reviews on the unit. Also doesn't have gigabit, which is kind of a necessity. The Asus routers look good. Thinking about maybe the N16 but I don't need the USB and print server nonsense. I'm also looking at the Netgear WNR3500L. I have a 15/1 cable connection with up to 3-4 wireless clients and another 4-5 wired (I have a separate gigabit switch so number of ports isn't an issue). I'd like to spend no more than $80. Any suggestions?
