Need Help Picking A PSU.

I went with the seasonic, and so should you. It is actually a very dependable PSU, Ive not owned the other brand before, but guys here seem to love them.

The Seasonic will be significantly quieter. Maybe you can post up a configuration you're planning to run, see if we can make any suggestions.

And I would pass on the modular versions of either from performance pc.

Amd Athlon 4000+
DFI Lanparty Nf4 SLi
eVGA 7800 GTX
Maxtor Maxline 3 300GIg. Sata
Plextor Sata DVD Burner
Audigy 2 ZS Platinum Pro
2 Gigs of ram.

I will running sli, watercooling it, and getting a athlon x2 4800 when the prices come down....way down. :)

i say seasonic also. just cause i have one myself. :p but the pc&p 510 is also a GREAT psu from what i've heard. i say seasonic due to the price difference.

More joints (more connections due to the modular nature) means more resistance through the cable. I personally don't need modular cabling.

What Korruption said and I don't trust after market work I didn't do. PC Power and Cooling was (and I believe still is) very anti modular cables for their PSU's.
