Need help, Pc won´t turn on

When I press the power button nothing happens except the Dvd drive led turns on for a second and the processor fan moves an inch, but that´s it, no beeps. I think the power supply is working since the mobo led is turned on.

Took my computer parts on a trip with me, reasembled my old computer on this case and had the same problem, when I come back i swap all the parts and the same thing happens. Tought the jumpers are defective and try another case but nothing changes. I´ve read the manual and know where to connect the jumpers but I just can´t make it start.

Don´t know what to do next and I really miss my pc (nothing compares to Your pc), I would appreciate some help.
 
When I tried a different setup same thing happened, I just hope I´m overlooking something.
Dammit replacing a psu is no fun, kinda wish it were my processor and I would have to upgrade :D.
Gonna see if my friend has an extra ps to test it out, thanks for the advice.
 
Ok so I tried a different psu and same thing happend ... now I'm puzzled.

Just to recheck:
1.- There are only 2 psu wires that need to be connected to the mobo correct? One is the 24pin connector and the other is a 4 pin located near the processor.
2.- Only 1 jumper matters when you are trying to start your pc, a 2 pin jumper that says Power SW.

Weird I built this pc but now I can´t make it stat, help would be greatly appreciated HF.

yup, did you check if you got the + - right? try the paper clip trick with the powersupply to see if it just cuts off on you
 
Hello, so after 2 weeks I go at it again.
Try another setup (after reading the manual) and it works, so now I learn about +/-
Take my new found knowledge to my new setup and alas nothing happened, try it a second time and
HOORAY it works but here is the problem, white smoke came from the jumpers, I know I connected them correctly now, but I´m worried I could damage the mobo if I jump start it again.
Any wise advice or what exactly happened.

Edit: I said fuck it and connected my setup and now I'm posting on my new setup listening to Frank Sinatra :), I love you guys, now i can download books, anime, videogames and movies.
Come fly with me, let's fly and fly away. After 6 months I'm using my pc, Pure bliss.
