Hi, this is my first post so be easy on me. :p I'm a norwegian as well so..hehe ;)

My system specs are:

E6600 (L627A101) Cooled by Zalman 9700
Vista Ultimate x64
Hiper R 530W
Asus Striker Extreme 1102 Bios
Corsair Twin2xPro 2gb PC6400
8800GTX @ XXX speeds
WD RaptorX 150, Seagate 400, WD 500 - All SATA
SB Audigy 4
Dell 2407WFP

I have had this mobo for about a week now, and I must say there are some parts in the "extreme tweaker" section in the Bios that I just can't figure out.
If I for instance run my memory in "unlinked" mode, I can leave my memory at 800mhz and do whatever I want with the FSB, like turning it up to 1600fsb (400x8). But if I turn it up to 1650fsb or more it'll give me a blue screen right after loading windows, it boots fine btw. I've also tried to up the memory to 900mhz++ but that don't help...
I already have Vcore at 1.635, which is very high btw but get temperatures like 35-40 celcius. Vdimm stands at 2.3. All the other overvoltage alternatives like 1.2 HT voltage, SB voltage, NB voltage etc. are running high, but not too high (sorry, can't really remember the exact levels since I'm at work right now).

I have been in an another forum and they posted that I might just have been really unlucky with my cpu, is that true? I am going to upgrade to Q6600 in June, but I want to know if it's my mobo or my cpu that is crappy. I can have my mobo for another week if I want, returning it with getting all my money back.

So can someone help me with overclocking. I'm really just not happy with 3.2ghz overclock with an really expensive Asus Striker Extreme...

Thanks for all help,

Nightwolfie

EDIT: I also had an Asus P5W Deluxe which died, maybe because of too high voltages. Had it for 8 months though. The overclocking with that card was much easier with less buttons to press... Couldn't get stable higher than 3.2ghz. There I had to run Vcore at 1.635 as well to even get a boot.
