I have an AMD Athlon 4400+ (X2) and its currently at 2200. The idle temps for this is around 39 to 40 degrees (im not sure if that is normal or not). The voltage is at 1.34v. Because i have an asus motherboard - i am using the AI booster to adjust and monitor the temps and timings etc. What would be the best way to start overclocking to as i remember my last experence i selected an amount to be overclocked and this went to 2600 and something and then the computer just restarted straight away which i then had to reset it in the bios menu. Im not using any water cooling - just an Akasa Evo 33.

I want to know what would be the best way to go about overclocking this (and the safest) and also what should i go up to. It would help if anyone else had an asus motherboard as they would have AI booster as well.
