ok i need some help overclocking this dfi board. im following the guide in the amd processor section written by eclipse.

now when im trying to find the max htt, and max cpu, it says to set ht multi to 2.5 cpu multi to 5 or stock respectively and divider to 1/2. what should my memory settings be set too? at the moment pretty much everything on the dram settins page is set to auto. should any of these be set specifically at this point?

the point of the divider is to keep the memory out of play, so auto settings should be fine.

well i been trying my luck with overclocking some more i managed to get the htt up to 348 before i ran into trouble, then i went on to work in on the cpu. it did ok but not all that great compared to the other 165's ive read about. anyways so far

at 1.35v 280x9 2520 31c
1.40v 285x9 2565 34c
1.45v 295x9 2655 36c
1.50v 300x9 2700 38c

i wasnt sure just how far i could push the voltage and after reading one post on another forum im not so sure these temps are accurate on this mother board.

so im not sure what i should do next.

I've seen some people with AMD duals running 1.55V vcores. From what I've read, usually on high end air or water cooling you don't want to go past .25 above stock. I think the stock voltage is 1.35V?

Basically if you can still keep the temps at 50C or lower and you aren't having stability problems in prime95, memtest86 or anything else you're running as apps or games, keep pushing it up. You'll hit a wall eventually, where it won't matter how much voltage you throw at it, you won't get a stable overclock. Within reason, of course... I don't consider liquid nitrogen a "reasonable" method of overclocking.
