need help on upgrading my video card

i'm currently using a geforce 3 ti200 and i didn't know that in order to play battlefield 2 you need one of those highend ones. here is my dilemma though. the system i'm currently using was bought so that i could use it kuz my other system's motherboard broke. so it's one of those pre-built ones that can be found at costco (compaq). it's gotten to the point where i've already configured it to my liking, and although the other computer is fixed now, i don't want to nuke all my hd's in order to get all the system configurations correctly (kuz if i were to just swipe hard drives, windows would be f*cked is that correct?).

the dilemma is that the power supply is already used up, there's no more power extentions coming out of it, and from what i can see it's only a 200W (but i hear that the power supplies are different from standard ones, so it should have more juice in it). so in order to upgrade my geforce 3 ti200, my criteria was this.

1) it has to be agp
2) the card doesn't need a power supply cord going into it

is there anything out there?

another question i have is i've seen many new agp cards like the inno 6200A where it only states agp 8x, but the motherboard on this computer only allows 4x. will it still work or is it only made for agp 8x?

and yah , some of u guys may say to just get a new computer, and yes that is on my mind in a yr or so, but as of right now that isn't my plan and all i want to do is to be able to play bf2 =P

That's one of the only ones that doesnt require a molex but still maintains a "good" 128bit ram bus.

seeing how bf2 didn't list the 6200 as a possible card, will it work?

also, are there any other choices out there?
 
Buy a 6600GT and a splitter cable for the PSU. Or consider buying a video card and getting your other PC running again. Post the specs of both PCs and we can help you out more.

the other pc's running, however it's my sisters now. i was thinking of taking it back, but i don't want to nuke my hard drives & reconfigure everything just so that the system's hardware configurations are correct.

yeah i've been thining of just getting a splitter cable for the PSU, but who knows what this compaq 200W psu really puts out :confused:
 
Yeah, maybe 9800 Pro if you can't afford the 6600 GT.
BTW, it will work with AGP 4x. Only it will work at 4x. That only makes a difference of 2 or 3 fps in the real world.
