I got this for free as a 2nd monitor. When I run 1024x768x90 to 100HZ, no problem. But when I moved to lower vertical freq., 70, 75, 85 Hz of the vertical freq., the screen shakes.

But at 1280x1024, it only support 60, 70, 75 Hz and when I choose 70 or 75Hz, it shakes.

And this is the strange part, I downsize it to 60Hz, it doesn't shake, at neither 1600x1200@60Hz, nor 1280x1024@60Hz. so I'm running 1280x1024x60Hz right now.

However, I'm almost certain that 60Hz causes eye strains, although when I look at the monitor about 5 ft. from the screen, if it causes eye strains, I should be able to see hoirzontal lines moves upwards, but I don't.

There is ferrite-choke on both end of the cable, so it's not the cable. The gauges of the power cable is also very thick, so it's not the power cable neither.

What is causing the shaking at 70 or 75 or 85 Hz?

And can replacement of a better video card fix the above? Currently on this computer, it's just a cheap X300.
