i have a thermaltake tsunami case. i love how it has little things that make it so much better.like the snap in pci cards instead of screw drivers and rubber gaurd mounts for the hard drives so it doesnt vibrate as much and most importantly it has a filter on the front of the case that catches the majority of dirt that could potentially dirty my case.

so far ive been looking at the antec 900. love the look of the case and the psu on the bottom as well.and because it pushes so much air from the case because of the great airflow the case has.but i kinda want a case like my tsunami with the filters and rubberguard mounts and snap in pci cards. can anyone recommend a case that has filters at least cuz i dont want to be cleaning my case very often like i do with my tsunami.the other things would be nice as well, but not needed.but still would like them if possible.

im buying a new computer and my tsunami is going to my gf.thats y im getting a new case.

thx again.any help is appreciated.

edit: ill also be using a XIGMATEK HDT-S1283 for the cpu so if the case could fit it too.

Take a look at the Coolermaster 690 and Centurion 590. They're both great cases, with excellent airflow, foam filters in the front, and a bunch of tool-less features as well.

whats the diff between the 2? im assuming more features?

Different front panel and drive mounting arrangement. The 690 has 5 5.25" bays and a bunch of HD racks with vibration-dampening mounts, and the 590 has 9 5.25" bays, and comes with a 4-in-3 adapter for 3.5" devices. Aside from that, the internal chassis are the same.

im only going to be using 1 of the 5.25 bays and i have like 4 hard drives. which one would you recommend Zero? 690? trying to look for the 690 but its not on newegg. just the 590.

Well, it depends on what you prefer, really. I have a 590, and I'm only using one of the 5.25" bays and two HDs. I just picked it because I prefer the way it looks to the 690. They're both equally good cases, so it's down to which one you think looks better, and which drive mounting method you prefer. The 690's method is actually easier for mounting HDs, but the 590 has the advantage of being able to move the HD cage into any three consecutive 5.25" bays, so you can configure the layout more easily. Both have their benefits.

Do either case provide ample room for the motherboard? Any pics with a motherboard installed? I'm currently getting parts for my first new build in 7 years(still using the same PIII dual 1 ghz system lol) and jumping on the quad core bandwagon. My old case is cramped and would love to have some elbow room to work with.

I don't have any pictures, but the interior is quite roomy for a mid-tower. I had plenty of space to work with when I was putting everything together.
