need help on a new video card

i have a 9700pro right now, and was wondering if i should jump to a x800, x850 or a 9800 ....i was gonna wait til later to get a new card, but I kinda have too now, my card is started to act up and flaking out on me....so what are ya'lls opinion? I prob will get the AIW version of the cards btw.
 
about 4-500...so pretty much, money isn't an issue...just looking for the best bang for my buck....
 
I would just get a X800XL and wait. Its a fast card that only gets beaten out by cards such as the 6800U and X800XT and up.
 
6800GT and a nice aftermarket cooler and clock it to Ultra speeds imo
 
i went and picked up a ATI AIW X800XT .....i got $50 bucks off b/c it was open box... =)
 
rma the card. as long as you didnt cause it to act up. then wait for r520 and see what thats like.


edit: just saw you grabbed a x800 xt. good choice :D
 
First of all it depends on ur budget, but i would certainly pick the X800, its a great card all rounder you can't go wrong with this card.
 
the open box one had issues, took it back and they gave me a new one, but also saw the X850 ....was really tempted ......they were priced the same, $499 but I decided that i would benefit from the AIW functions over a few more frames..... =)

i was using my Fry's card....lol....but thanks, i checked newegg, and that rebate is universal, so i'll get another 50 off.... so eseentially i paid 400 =)
