Need help on a mouse pad, please.....

I have reached a point where the skin on my right palm is sore from the mouse pad.

I know I can't be the only person who is suffering from this. Is there a mouse pad that you can recommend that will be soft for the skin.

I am using a wired Mionix and it is not used for gaming....I just do a lot of computer work and need a change.
