I've been out of the loop 3 months to be short and I need to build a new computer since my old one caught on fire due to a bad PSU. I need something that will handle quad core and possibly SLI or Crossfire. I want something thats good quality as well. Ill start reading articles and wait for a reply. Thank you

better start reading paper books :(

dision?

right now the sex-spot is corsair 520. 620 if you feel life it hard and unfair.

The 520 is almost certainly insufficient for that kind of setup. So is the 620 in that it does not have enough native PCIe power connectors to support many SLI/Crossfire setups.

The Silverstone Olympia 750 watt ($158) or PC Power and Cooling Silencer 750 Quad ($168) (also available in black but slightly more expensive for some reason) are both good options for what you want to do, OP. I personally would not go below that. Both have high amperage (60+) single 12v rails that'll easily take care of that kind of load, and are 80%+ efficient, meaning they should run quiet and cool, as well as not run your electrical bill up quite as bad. Both are high quality units, and have 4 native PCIe power connectors to support any SLI or Crossfire configuration. Both are high quality units that review well.

If you want modular cabling look to the Thermaltake Toughpower line or Enermax Galaxy. They will probably be significantly more expensive though.
