Hi Folks.. I am a super newbie to oc'ing so please bear with me. I have read the guide on how to overclock here but sadly :( I just couldn't get the grasp on how to do it. Maybe because I am scared that I might put in the wrong settings and fry my components but anyway, can anyone here help me how to oc my rig, in other words please tell me what settings i need to start. Please don't think that I want everything spoon fed to me but as i have said, i am super newbie to this stuff. I read from the buyer's feedback from Newegg that someone was able to oc E6750 to 3.0 by just adjusting the fsb. Since I have 2.66GHz, i'll be happy to get to 3.0GHz flat. Please fellas, help me on this one.

Below is my rig:

Intel Core 2 Duo E6750 2.66Ghz
Gigabyte GA-P35-DS3L
GeIL 2GB (2 x 1GB) DDR2 800 (PC2 6400)
EVGA GeForce 8600GT 256MB
AC Freezer 7 Pro CPU Cooler

Thanks in advance..

Press CTRL+F1 to access overclocking options.
PCIe Frequency - 100MHz
System Voltages - Manual
vRAM - +0.0, 0.2 or 0.4. 0.0 is 1.8v, 0.4 is 2.2v
vCore - 1.325v

Memory multiplier - 2.00x
Adjust timings by [Manual]
First 4: 5-5-5-18

Adjust FSB. 3GHz = 375MHz FSB. 3.2GHz = 400MHZ FSB (DDR2-800)
Stress test.

etc.

Gigabyte likes to make things difficult for us. Once you understand the language difference, its quite straightforward. And time consuming.
