I just finished a VGA mod for a 5.5" PSone LCD and now I need some help with adding it to my case. This is my first case mod attempt and its going in two 5.25" bays. What kind of material should I use to make the faceplate/mount?

I also plan on putting a cover over the front to protect the LCD. I tried some spare plexiglass I had laying around but it had a bad glare and it was impossible to see the screen. Is there a different material to use instead of plexiglass that wont have the bad glare or maybe something like a tint I could add to it?

Is the lcd controller board on that PSone screen even able to fit into the drive bays?

i think it would depend on the case... but you can get a sheet of aluminum or a lian li side pannel and cut that up... performance-pcs has some AC ryan sheet metal you could use...
