Hey guys,

I have been having some problems with my computer lately and i have been trying to diag. the source of my problem, however i think i am just making it worse.

I had my system running @ 2.6Ghz with my Corsair 1GB XL kit 2-2-2-5@216.3Mhz

Temps where at 44C - 48C during play and MB temps where between 32C - 38C.

Multiplier @ x10 - voltage @ 1.425 - Mem limit @ 166 - fsb @ 260

I could game for a few hours and sometimes it would blue screen when the ram usuage got pretty high. i then proceeded to try and update my motherboard drivers and video card drivers, the video card drivers installed properly but everytime i installed the motherboard drivers and rebooted it would just keep rebooting when it gets to the windows logo screen and get stuck in an endless reboot cycle untill i told it to load the last settings that worked. the drivers i tried to load where the nForce4 AMD/Intel X16 - Windows XP Professional x64 Edition Version: 6.83. After fighting with this for awhile i gave up and loaded 6.69 drivers which seem to work. but still the computer did not seem stable.

So i decided i needed more ram. I researched and found OCZ 2GB kit to have pretty low timings and heard they would overclock good, so i picked up OCZ 2GB Kit DDR400 PC3200 Platinum Edition Dual Channel Memory kit (OCZ4002048ELDCPE-K)

After installing this memory the computer booted up fine, memory was auto set to run at 2.5-3-2-5@216.3mhz - modules themself claimed 2-3-2-5, it was late so i only played for about 1.5 hr, i then shutdown the computer. Next day i tried upping the memory limit to 183 and set the timings really high 3-4-4-8@238mhz, it was not stable at all in fact WoW would not even load, so back down to 166 mem limit, stayed with the slow timings and still WoW would not load it seemed like i screwed something up.

I then updated my BIOS from ver 1009 to ver 1103, still no luck the system would just reboot. so i set everything back to normal CPU speed was at 200 mem on auto, back to the basics, and something was still screwed up.

Very frustrated at this point.

So reinstall windows was my last attempt, after i reinstalled windows and installed all the latest drivers nForce 6.83 and Forceware 81.98, the comp ran great! but was kinda slow because i was used to running @ 2.6, so i set it back up to 260x10 1.425v mem limit 166 left the memory timings on auto, and it booted up no problem, played for hours, i was happy and thought i fixed the problems. well that night i shutdown the comp(should have left it on), i didnt play the next day, so two days later i get home and turn it on to get in some gaming action, well it gets passed the bios and right before the windows logo screen it just sits on a black screen. reboot a few times and it gets stuck on the windows logo screen with the bar still moving. reboot into last settings that worked still froze. so then i reset the oc back to 2.0ghz, and booted still froze, tried again with the last settings that worked, and got it to get into windows. played for about 3 hours then it crashed when i ported into orgrimmar. i simply gave up at this point.

Sorry for the long post but i just want to explain in as much detail what i am going through cause i really want to fix this.

What do you guys think is the culprit to this system? shouldi RMA the MB or the is the RAM shitty and i should return that?
