Need help installing creative drivers

I tried to update my drivers for my SB Audigy 2 and it wanted me to remove the old drivers and reboot. I did so, and now I can't install the drivers. I get the following error message:
"Error: You have previously installed drivers without rebooting"

I have tried using driver cleaner, but the problem still persists.
