Ok, well i need help hooking up a computer to a high defonition TV using DVI. The comptuer I am trying to hook up has a Radeon 9600XT video card in it. And the tv is a Sony Trinitron High Defonition TV with DVI input. Now, from what i hear, i need a TV tuner card to convert the video signal into NTSC format so i can output it through DVI. Can someone tell me how i can do this and what tv tuner card or what parts i need? Thanks!

Try plugging one end of the cable into the vid card, and the other end of it into your tv.

You need Powerstrip and you need to clone your display, thats pretty much it.

I was thinking about the RGB adapter, but i dont know how well that will work and with what aspect ratio/resolution? And about Powerstrip.. just cloning the display does not work.. its darn near impossible to get all the settings right in Powrstrip to make it work right full screen clearly.. i tried for 2 hours today and had no luck with it

Powerstrips is pretty much the only way to get it to work. ATI's drivers have stuff in them for custom resolutions like this but so far I hear that most people aren't having luck with them. You need to stop over in the HTPC forum and look there for an answer, or do a search for "Stuff for HTPCs".
