Need help getting dual cards to work

I recently bought a Chaintech AV710 that I want to use for music while I reserve my Audigy 2 for gaming. Unfortunately whenever I have both in their respective PCI slots and I try to boot into Windows the machine hangs just before the login screen. I was able to boot into safe mode and install the AV710 drivers that way, but when I attempt to reboot to finish the install I get the same lockup. Any suggestions on how to make these two play nicely together?
