Need help from Hitachi owners!

Hi Guys...

need some help from you guys that have Hitachi HDD!

I just installed in my box my second Desktstar and launched the Hitachi FTool to let it run in 3Gb/s mode....

BUT...

As soon as the ftool finishes scanning the IDE channels, it crashes saying: UNHendled Exception....blah blah!

Anybody knows what problem is this??

Try running ftool with only the hitachi drive in, also try changing connector positions.
 
I onnly have those two hitachi in...nothing more...

And which connector are you referring to?

I had problems with more than one drive connected to the system when running ftool. Try doing them one at a time, and I'm talking about the sata connection on the motherboard.

Oh ya.. make sure they're not raided.
