Need help formatting disk in ESXI box

Trying to add a new harddrive and make it its own storage space.

Issues the following command in vmkfstools and having issues with it.

Command Issued:

vmkfstools -C vmfs5 -b 1m -S Storage2 /vmfs/devices/disks/naa.600508b1001037
383941424344450800


I get the following error, and im not strong with command line so I dont know what to do with it.

Error recieved:

Creating vmfs5 file system on "naa.600508b1001037383941424344450800" with blockSize 1048576 and volume label "Storage2".
/vmfs/devices/disks/naa.600508b1001037383941424344450800: Permission denied. (Have you set the partition type to 0xfb?)
Error: Permission denied

Note: I am logged in as root, thats the only user that exists. and I see nothing under help in vmkfstools that helps me.

Any ideas?
