Need help for choosing video card

Hi,

I'm building right now a new system with Core 2 Duo E6400 but can't still decide wich video card to buy.
I don't want too spend too much because I won't keep the card for very long, one year at most.

My choice is either a X1900XT/X1950XT or X1950 Pro in crossfire.
But I don't have any experience with crossfire and I don't know if it's hard to configure or making it work. So I wonder if the single card choice is better or not.

I'll have to decide my mobo choice according to my video card choice : 965 or 975 chipset.

Right now the games I play most is GTR, GTR2, GTLegends, rFactor, NFS Most Wanted and Far Cry.
I have 20.1 inch widescreen LCD with 1680 x 1050.
