I have a older motherboard (Asus P5E) that doesnt have any native USB 3.0 ports.

I am in the processing of ripping all my movies to a 3TB USB 3.0 external drive for playback with a WD Live TV.

The USB 2.0 transfer speed is holding me back and its time to upgrade if I can.

So I need a PCI-E x 1 or PCI to USB 3.0 (2 or 4 port) card. I purchased one off newegg from Oricio and its junk so its going back.

Willing to spend like 20-25 buck. Prefer to be from a known good manufacture (Silverstone, Asus, etc).

Any help or suggestions MUCH appreciated.

Here are a couple of ideas:

$20 - Vantec UGT-PC312 (has two external ports)
$25 - Vantec UGT-PC345 (has two external ports and an internal two-port header)

I went for the first one, so hopefully it just works. I dont really need more than 2 ports, and honestly I dont really HAVE to have this right now. It just makes transferring my blu-ray rips to my external drive (for playback on my WD Live TV) quicker and easier.
