I just deleted my raid volume... I had a drive go down and I installed a new drive and tried to remove the old drive from computer management and deleted the volume not the drive...
not good. I have not done anything yet. I am using software RAID-5 from server 2003.
is there anyway to get my RAID array back? or get the data off the array.
please let me know. I have the important things backed up by my 130 DVD are going to be a pain in the ass to get back on there..
4x250gb SATA drives Software RAID Windows Server 2003
help help would be good.

okay well this is amazing... i dont know how to get my array back but I bought this program like a year ago called R-studio NTFS and it has the ability to create a virtual RAID 5 array. i just added my drives and I am scanning them now... then I am going to have to move the data off the array to external storage, then recreate the array and then move the data back..
but I think all my data is safe..
I think this is a $30 program also that is going to save my ass...
