OK, here's the deal. Looking at doing a laptop mod. I'm going to be stripping the guts out of the case and remounting them. It's an older laptop and requires a USB 2.0 PCMCIA card to get the faster speed I need out of an external device. However, I don't like how the card extends out the side of the case.

I need a 2" PCMCIA M/F extension cable. Something so I can flip the card over and back around the laptop. Or somewhere that sells some M and F adapter ends and I can adapt an 80-pin IDE cable. I don't care what it looks like, round cable, ribbon cable, flat cable; it's going to be hidden. (I'm hoping someone sells a small'ish cable.) I tried the vendors in the Electronics FAQ's, but they all want to sell me a Serial PCMCIA card. (Google's not showing me much love either.)

Someone has to know a vendor somewhere that can help. :(

Thanks.
