Hi.

Ran into an issue trying to install Windows XP Pro on a new computer that I built. When I try to 'boot from CD' with the XP Pro disk in...the setup routine ok for a bit...loads files... when it gets to 'setup is starting windows' it gives me this error:

SESSION3_INITIALIZATION_FAILED
blah blah blah
Technical info:
Stop: 0x0000006F (0xC0000020, 0x00000000, 0x00000000, 0x00000000)

From my google search for this problem, it seems to be some type of missing file ? Is the missing file corrupted on the CD and I need a new CD ? There was not much info on the web about getting around the problem...other than loading a previous windows version and then upgrading. I don't have a previous windows version to load, so that is out of the question.

Very simple hardware setup. The SATA hard drive (Samsung SP1614C) is connected to the primary SATA port 0 on the motherboard (Jetway A210GDMS Pro matx). The only other peripheral hardare is the Plextor DVD RW drive. Atlon64 3000+ cpu.

Any help is appreciated.
Thank you,
cas
