Need help diagnosing

I think I fried my motherboard but before I go ahead and replace it I just want to make sure I tried everything possible.

The story goes like this. I had the bright idea to do some power cable management on my home theater (computer is hooked directly to tv). My dumb self unplugged my computer while it was in suspend mode. To make matters worse, when I plugged everything back in I didn't have the switch off on the power supply.

When I went to boot up, I got an error saying it couldn't find an operating system. I figured no problem I probably pissed off my SSD by cutting power while in suspend. So I tried to boot into my HDD (I kept windows on it for just in case a problem like this arose). Well sure enough I got the same error.

Now, I got desperate. I pulled out my old IDE drive that also had a valid OS for this computer (once again , kept this for an issue like this). Once again, got the same error.

Finally, I pulled out a jump drive that had OCZ's firmware update linux bootable. That booted fine. Then I tried another jump drive that had a forensic version of linux bootable on it.... no problems.

Finally, I figured what the heck lets try installing windows again. Long story short, I formatted my SSD and windows errored and said it couldn't install. Tried my HDD, no go. Tried my IDE drive, no go.

So now every drive I have is formatted (thank God I had backups of documents). I don't know what else to do. I pulled all the drives and tried them individually. I cleared the cmos 20 zillion times.

Any idea's appreciated.

Hardware:
Motherboard: IP35 Pro
Processor: Xeon X3210 (slower cousin of Q6600)
Ram: 6gb ddr2
HDD: 2x 500gb hitachi deskstar in raid 0
SSD: OCZ Revodrive 180gb
IDE HDD: old school deskstar 45gb
 
did you pull the cmos battery for a minute or two with the psu unplugged before doing all this? that should fix the issue. also plugging in the psu with the switch off doesn't matter, its not going to do anything to the psu or the system.

if you are getting into the bios the motherboard is not fired, plain and simple. its more then likely freaking out because it went from S3 mode to booting up so it thinks its still recovering from a sleep state.
 
I have just used the clear switch the ip35 pro has. I will try pulling the battery and report back
 
Pulling battery didn't work. So I got an idea and flashed the bios and right now windows is installing. Now why in the heck did I have to flash the darn bios for it to clear! Oh well, atleast it is working (at the moment)
