Need help deciding on PSU

Hi all,

Need some help deciding if the 650HX is worth the extra 40 bucks.

Corsair 650HX
Total:
$134.80
$119.80 -AR

Corsair 650TX
Total:
$87.72
$77.72 -AR

Difference of $42.08

The HX is modular and seems to be a better version of the TX according to reviews. If the price difference was around $20 I would be all over the HX since it matches the blue of my mobo and ram. Did I mention it's modular?

Am I an idiot for actually considering the HX for an extra $40 just because it is modular and blue?

ATI 6850 or 6870 (can't decide)

Went with the HX.

Saw a pic of the TX with all the cables wound up inside someone's case and I freaked out.

Internally, it's basically identical to the HX650, and it's considerably cheaper as well once the rebate is factored in.

I have that its an awesome PSU.
