Need help deciding Graphics Card Please!!

I had my mind set on the Visiontek Radeon HD3870 512MB, but now Newegg has an 8800GTS 320MB for about the price I was planning on spending. Here are the links for the two cards.

I really don't know which one to get now. Any advice or opinions are appreciated.
 
What the hell? 3870s cost $250 now?

Go for an 8800GT if you're willing to pay $250 for a card, it's faster than the 3870.
 
I wasn't paying attention to the price, sorry. But yeah, at that price go ahead and pick up a 8800gt. I have a XFX one and love it. :p
 
Every time I find a new card, I increase my budget just a little bit.:D First I was looking at an 8600GT for about 80-100, then the 8600GTS for a little more, next the 3850 for about 150-170. Now I found that MicroCenter has a Visiontek 3870 512MB for ~$190 (I just posted the link to Newegg because it is the same card). This 8800GTS would be about the same price. For this money, what is the best card? (without increasing my budget anymore!!!!!)

don't buy the gts 320 because its an end of life product. if you ever plan on going dual gpu in the future, it will be difficult to find one at a decent price.
 
Alright, looks like I'm probably gonna just go with the 3870. Thanks for your help. Is this the best card for ~$190.
