I just upgraded to the Abit NF7-S rev 2 and I need to set up the sound. I use headphones exclusively and need to set up the sound so I can get all that great 3d positioning in games I've missed with the M-Audio Revo. I've been searching the forums & web, but not come across much. I've been messing with the Nforce Control Panel and that changes the sound, but just makes it... i don't know... different. Anyone know about a setup guide or anything like that? The game I'm trying to configure is AA.

Thanks

for Sound on Americas Army, set the ingame settings to Hardware, forget about EAX it seems to just over do the positional 3d.. in the Soundstorm driver settings, i like to keep the speaker config on regular "headphones" none of htat Headphones with cinesurround. then go to the EQ and on the drop down menu scroll down to the "headphones" setting its a bit too peaky for regualr listening on reg speakers but seems just about perfect for gaming with headphones. i also chang the "Effects" page usually to "Room" or living room, but that can sometime give too much reverb. then you can change the rear channel to match...

sorry if some of the terms arent exactly correct, im at work and dont have my comp in front of me..
