I have a DSL Connection as well. I want the server to use the DSL connection for its internet, but still be accessable from all the other devices. The server has two NIC's and I also have another router (Netgear WNR854T)

How would you configure this? I would prefer to not have to reconfigure my exisiting network as I'm probably too lazy.

To start things off...

You could get a 2nd NIC in the server
Get another router for your DSL
Have the NIC for the server, and the LAN IP of the DSL router, on a different IP range than your "other" network.

Remove the gateway entry from your servers NIC going to your existing "other" cable network...so now the server will not try to use that NIC hence that cable router as its path to the internet.

your gonna need at the very least - another method of routing. Perhaps your cable or DSL has a connection method via USB? If not - you'll need either a second router or a dual-WAN router.
