Ok im not one to ask for help usualy but this one has got me stumped. First off every time a play a graphical intense game my comp restarts. I thought it was a heat problem so i took of the stock fan and strapped an 80mm on still same thing comp restarts. It could be a lack of power but i have a 550w psu so i dont think thats it.

My second problem is i just bought a capture card (aitech wave watcher tv-pci) its not meant for xp but of course i have xp so i tried the compatability wizard and nothing, i tried the xp beta drivers nothing.

Just to help diagnose the problem heres my computer in a nut shell

Athlon 2500+ w/slk900a + AS3
Gigabyte GA-7VAX mobo (bios rev 12)
512 Generic Ram
Dual Fan Lead Power 550w PSU
Hitachi Deskstar 80GB Hard Drive
Segate 200GB Hard Drive
ST Lab ATI Radeon 7500 128mb
Lite On DVD-RW 4x
Aitech Wave Watcher TV-PCI TV Tuner/Capture Card

So if anyone can help me out please post, pm, or email. Thanks

About the restarts, turn off automatic reboots, to see if you get a blue screen. Check in your event logs to see what caused the reboot. Update chipset drivers, DirectX, and video drivers too.

<stupid question> ok i turned off automatic restarts but where is the system log so i can read it </stupid question>
