I have a TDX setup with a black ice rad... ran my setup for months with a 775 intel cpu.. decided to switch to a 939 AMD setup and removed my watercooling and let it sit until i got my new AMD top for the tdx (this is where the problem starts)

I added some Swiftech HydrX http://www.svc.com/swhyexduco.html and it worked fine.. i used it because i wanted the UV dye with the added algea prohibiter.. well guess what.. the stuff is a total farse.. after sitting for 3 weeks i have all kinds of algea in my lines.. in my res.. and probably in my rad...

my question is.. how do i clean all the bacteria out of the lines.. my idea was to run bleach water thru everything (replacing taint water with fresh distiled water) for a few hours.. will this hurt the pump? or anything elese in my setup?.. if bleach isnt the answer.. what is?

thanks for any help

Antibiotics, silver iodine? I think you will have to throw away any tubes you use afterwards, but I don't think your pump will be damaged. I have never had much luck with cleaning tubes to keep the algae off once it is in as the tubing is somewhat porous.
