hi,
Im needing help in finding a Best bang for the buck labtop for under $300 for school
doesn't matter if it is refurbished, just needs to have a disk drive.
thanks

This goes waaaay back... but I got a laptop for college way back when and I found an awesome deal from Dell using a student discount. I got a 700m new for like $300 or something ridiculous like that. Maybe look into student discounts, or see if Dell still has those sorts of deals anymore?

Under $300? I'd suggest checking out places like...

Lenovo Outlet

Dell Direct Sales

...and other Outlet sites. You're not likely to get something brand new for that price worth having, but something used? You might get lucky.

If it was me at that price I'd consider a Dell Latitude or Precision (the E6400 perhaps, I saw a few of those for under 300) from that site I linked. Since it's for school I'd grab a 14" probably, possibly a 15". Best of luck!
