I am going to upgrade the memory in my MSI 848P NEO MB and I need to know which configuration will help me the most. The CPU is a 2.8 Northwood running at 3.5 on a 250 fsb. I am trying to find out if I am better off using RAM that runs at CAS2 at 400 (PC3200) or getting PC4000 that runs at CAS3. Will the faster memory running syncronous make up for the slower timings? The PC4000 is quite a bit more expensive than the PC3200 so I don't want to spend the money if there is no point.
