I'm trying to buy the best mouse I can for my system. I play alot of First person shooters. I also play all other types of games as well.
I'm interested in either the Logitech 510 or 700. I've also taken interest in the razer mouses at www.razerzone.com. If anybody has advice or experenice with these mouses or any others I would appreciate any help in choosing one.

Thanks

If you want wireless, get the MX700 or MX1000. Other than that, the MX510 is regarded as one of the best mice on the market.

If you're playing a lot of FPS games, I would stay away from wireless mice. I've used a Microsoft Bluetooth mouse and I didnt like it one bit. MX510 is probably what you want to get.

I can't tell you how happy I am with my mx510. I'm very picky with mice. This mouse rocks. It's the most comfortable and functional mouse I've used.

Love my razer viper and exactmat, best combo I've ever had, and I've had most of them.

It looks like it's between the logitech 510 and razerzones viper. Maybe I just buy both. I do have a second computer that has a microsoft mouse attached to it.

Thanks

Personally I would get the MX700 or 1000. I have np with gaming, plus you are not bound to your computer and your desk would be cleaner...........

I agree with the above poster. Wireless mice have come a LONG way in a short time (Logitech wireless anyway). I have the MX1000 and although out of the box, it seems to have some issues (some buttons not being recognized in some programs), they are easily cleared up by tweaking a few setting in the SetPoint software (Logitechs replacement to MouseWare). I haven't experienced any delay's or other problems except for the button issue mentioned above.
