Need Help choosing H20 Componects

I was doing a bit of testing on my Monster Rig with the pump at different settings and I was getting temps within 1c of each other at setting between 5 and 3. Granted I have a bit more radiator surface area than most, but I'd say that was pretty impressive of the little pump, and that's cooling CPU and GPU. At the 3 setting and all the fans turned off all I can hear is my PSU and HD.

sorry, i stand corrected.

i thought that it was about par at setting 4, however if it takes 3 to get teh thing quieter than a eheim.......i don't have AS strong an argument.
 
Even at the 3 setting pump still has pretty good head according to Lee's review.

And the PQ shows that is still has more than enough flow for good cooling.

I own/used these pumps Hydor L20/L30, Eheim 1046/8 1250, Laing D4/D5 (MCP650/655), Laing DDC (MCP350), CSP750, CSP mag, AC Aquastream.

Personally, (without going through the whole list) the D4 is the loudest by far, then it's the D5 @ 5... not quiet and definitely not silent by any means. The AC Aquastream... same as the Eheim 1046/8... is virtually silent, i.e. you need an ear pressed up against it to tell if it's on.

The D5 @ 3 is very quiet though... and I would say just a 'slight tad' quieter than a properly insulated DDC (MCP350)... but if you intend you use it in this manner.... a DDC is smaller and more powerful.

If you do plan to use all the power at some point, in by all means, get a D5... but if you plan to just use it for silence... imo the DDC is probably the better choice.

I'll probably get all my current pumps I have lying around and do a comparative noise test when I have the time to waste.. but currently, all these views are subjective as I haven't had the chance to run them side by side.

Or even a 1250, forgiving all it's cons (230V ac, large, etc) at a D5 @ 3, even Procooling shows the 1250 as having better performance and the 1250 when properly insulated is a lot lot quieter.

Prob the d5 pump, if it is truly quiet @ pot 3

However I'm not sure which rad to go for. The clearance @ the top of my LiLi 65 case isnt great and I've measured. The way that I am routing my cables in the case, is gonna restrict me from having a 2.120 rad @ the top of the case, a 1.120 could be a possibility @ the rear exhaust of the PC, and so would a 2.80 @ the front intake. I would like some comments on good options for cooling these 2 blocks with either one of these rad configs.
