Need help choosing case

I think the lack of pictures and the intimacy of the question is why you have no responses.

I actually like the aspire thats pictured on the splash page.

What kind of PS do I need for a an AMD 3000 64 venice?, 1 hhd, and 2 dvd-roms? Is 350 enough? Does newegg have any good deals on cases right now?

Looks like shit to me but if you like it, you like it. I'm not fond of all that gaudy plastic crap they like to do with cases. Beauty in the eye of the beholder and all that.

Bundled power supplies are generally total crap. Hit the PSU forum and read up a bit, but generally Fortron, OCZ, ...oh bugger, it, here.

you should look into some of these quality psu's that we use on our NF4's:

OCZ 520w or 600w Powerstream
Fortron 500w Bluestorm or better
Enermax 535w or better
PCP&C 510w or better

You can get away with something in the 400s too, depends mostly on the quality of the unit. PSU forum, & post before you buy if you're not sure. Better than posting later going "um, is my PSU totally screwing up my system?" or something. Also (unless there's some weird mutant exception out there I haven't seen yet) you MUST MUST MUST have a native 24-pin power supply.

Why do you want two DVD drives?

The Venice 3200+ is easier to overclock, and I assume you're overclocking otherwise you should probably go with a higher-marked CPU and don't need to do Venice specifically.

What motherboard & memory are you considering? DFI's the best for A64, and either TwinMOS SP or Crucial are very good choices for memory.

Mine's an Antec Neopower...on the other hand AG said that some people are having issues with Antec PSUs on nF4 motherboards, so I figured it was best just to leave it off and be on the safe side.

That's a large part of why I overclocked...my $150 CPU is currently more powerful than the stock speed of the highest rated one. And as far as reliability that's why you're supposed to do all the testing and such when you OC. Read Eclipse's guide (linked in my sig) if you're curious.

That's a 350W...most newer systems recommend a minimum of 400. Although in a simplified sense, the amperages are more important. That SLK1650B case is nice though, pretty sturdy and all. Good cases and good power supplies are generally sold seperate, they usually bundle them because it makes it easier to sell low-quality ones of both and to market them to people that haven't learned better yet by going "look this one comes with a power supply so it must be a good deal". There are occasional exceptions.
