Need help choosing 17inch LCD

I'm looking at 17inch LCD's for my wife. She's currently on my old 17inch CRT. I am sticking with the 17inch LCD for the price range and I like the size since she's going to be using my old video cards, which will be an ATI 9600xt once I build my new system here .

She mostly browses and occasionally plays games (mose recently WoW), but I want to make the purchase with gaming in mind and the ability to buy the moniter physically from a retailer so I can open the box and turn it on before I walk out of the store. I'm trying to find these in stores: Hitachi CML174, NEC 1760NX, and the ViewSonic 171B. I got them from an Anandtech.com article and so far have only found the Viewsonic at the only Chicago area Fry's.

I'm wondering if new LCD's have come available since this article that would be better than the three listed, or if there are others you think would be better as far as quality in gaming. I'm looking for gaming quality at 17inches (definately 17inches due to budget).
