Also circuit city has alot of Antec power supply's and I know that Antec is a good brand I just dont know the difference in them. I would really like buying one from newegg because I always buy things from newegg and their usually cheaper. But I can basically get one from circuit city for free anyway here are two from circuit city.

Im running a P4 3.0 processor socket 478, 2 hard drives, 3 fans, a Radeon X800GTO, a dvd drive, a cd drive, a gig of ram, and of course the heatsink. My graphic card draws its power from the floppy connector so I guess its directly hooked up to the power supply.

Out of the four you've listed I'd trust the Rosewill the most. There are better places to purchase PSU's than newegg or Circuit City.

For $80 you can pick up an Enhance 400W or 500W. I'm sure someone can link you to them since I'm not sure what the name of the site is that offers them.

Better places than newegg do tell :) thanks for the replys yea the Rosewill one doesn't look that bad and it wont break the bank the only reason I was looking at newegg and circuit city is because with newegg I am a preferred member and can pay it out and at circuit city its practically free but hey I want to get the best I can for at least under a 100 dollars.

Ok Phantoms YOU RULE! I am going to have to wait on the Hiper for a few days but it says they should be in stock on 4/2/07 but the cooler master looks good to im just taking my time on buying a psu because I want to get the best one I can and both of those look good.

Both those power supplies are crap. The Hiper is over-rated wattage wise and is using shared grounds on all the modular connections (this means more resistance and is a bad thing) and the Cooler Master is way over rated as far as wattage is concerned.

Don't purchase either as you'll be sorely disappointed. The Rosewill or the Enhance I linked you to will blow both away from a raw performance standpoint.

Ok thanks so much for the help I definitely want the best one that I can afford and like I said I know nothing about the voltages I know the brand names and which ones are the best but after that well thats about it :D

Well, take my advice. Spend $70 plus shipping on the ENP5150GH and rest assured you got a very good deal.

Hey katie it might be worth your while to do a little reading so you understand why you are buying what your buying.

Check out some of these review to see whats good and why its good.

Geez guys now you've given my upgradeitas lol its what my friends call me when I start getting new parts for my computer I have been itching for a new case for some time now but I love my red Ultra Dragon case.

I was looking at the Ultra X-Finity 600 watt one from tigerdirect but its refurbished so im not sure if I should take the risk

Has anyone heard of Mad Dog power supplies? My friend has one and he's wondering if its a crappy one or not.

they are not good, my cousin has a 7950 GX2 SLI setup and he had problems with that brand of PSUs, then he bought himself a Corsair HX620 and problem solved

Thanks for the reply wow my friend is not going to be happy to hear that he bought that psu cause he's a gamer he built his own computer guess he shouldn't of gotten that psu huh.

well my cousin has a LOT of drives so that might've been the issue !

I sure hope so although I usually do pride myself on having a better quality computer than him we kinda try to one up each other when were building our computers lol.

something similar happens between my cousin and i, upgrading our PCs it's like a competition for us, he got the 7950 GX2 SLI and now i got a 8800 GTS 640MB SLI setup! :D

Can anyone tell me what the maximum output of a Thermaltake TR2-430 Watt psu is?

18a on the +12v rail. I would never recommend it.

I suggest the Corsair HX 520 ($96 shipped at ZZF after MIR), the Enhance ENS-5150GH ($69 at ewiz.com), or the XClio goodpower 500w ($50ish at newegg)

In that order.

Yea I figured the Thermaltake wasn't any good thats the one I have now no wonder its about to break down.

Well today my boss said he was leaving in 2 months and guess who's the lowest on the totum pole at work yep yours truly so now im worried about spending alot of money on a psu right now so im going to go back to newegg or tigerdirect because I can pay my psu off that way instead of all at once so what do ya'll think is the best deal at either place for $100 dollars and under? I like the Xion and the Ultra X-Finity but im just checking to see if anyone else has any ideas.
