need help building computer

I am new to building computers and I want to build a new gaming pc. My budget is 1200-1400 dollars, I want an athlon 64 3200 to overclock to about 2.5GHz. What other components should I use.
 
Your next step is to decide on the video card. It will be the most expensive component you purchase if you go top of the line. Once you've made that decision then the rest will fall into place. The video card and processor will determine the type of mobo you get, you just need to read some reviews. Visiting AMD's site can show you what AMD recommends for that processor. Once that is done choose memory, HDD, etc. Do you have any components already, such as HDD, cdrom, etc?
 
I have no other components I am thinking about the bfg 6800gt. BTW this doesn't include a monitor and speakers are not neccessary at this time.
 
That'd be a bit of a stretch if you're looking for a 3200+ to go to 2.5ghz on air cooling (mine doesn't do 2.3 at stock voltage) I'd think a socket 939 3500+ would be better suited. Get some 'good' Corsair/Geil/Kingston PC3200 ram too, that's the main priority after cpu, mobo, and video card.
