Need help BIOS Flash gone wrong

OK, so i was updating my BIOS to see if it would help with my SLI problems and when i went to reboot i got no post and no beeps (Usually get one beep at startup meaning hardware check passed).
I reset the cmos and got it to go into the bios setting to reset to fail-safe settings and now it will not post what so ever. I have reseatted everything and left the battery out and used jumper to reset. nothing seems to work. the thing i notice is, is that my hard drive spins up then turns off. all my fans are runing even cpu fan.
My mobo has dual bios but i cant post to reset the bios.
any help or suggestion would be greatly appreciated.
 
Did you flash it with the right bios made for that board? Was there any interuption in the process that updates it? Was it a boot floppy flash, or off a thumb drive, or through windows, ect.?
 
I flashed it through @BIOS and there was only one option for my mobo on it. i have used @BIOS for my old Gigabyte mobo and had no problems. What i don't get i why the Dual bios feature didn't kick in.
 
Strange indeed, I wonder if it somehow wrote over both of them. Which is not how dual bios is supposed to work. You may have a bricked board form the sounds of it, unless someone here has had the same problem you should probably get in touch with the manufacturer.
 
yeah i was reading htrough some stuff on gigabyte and it says you cant update the second bios. if i could get it to post one more time maybe i could do something. but i just cant seem to.
 
i would realy love it if i didn't have to rma the board to Gigabyte and pay for shipping plus new thermal paste. i just fel like there is something i am overlooking.
 
So if i can't fix it by the end of this weekend i guess im gunna send in the board to gigabyte. This sucks i just bought call of duty world at war.
 
I had a gigabyte EP45-DS3L board do the exact same thing to me after a bios update. After much searching I found an obscure post on some message board about having external storage (USB sticks, external hard drive) hooked up causing the issue. I unplugged everything USB except mouse\keyboard and that sucker booted right up. Floored me.

yeah i had that problem before so i dont leave them plugged in. plus it would still POST.
I'm Sending it in to Gigabyte since the BIOS chip is soldered in.
