System powers when ATX Power cable is pushed down, no power button necessary... any guesses? LOL
I just tossed a rig together from spare parts, it wouldnt power. I unplugged ATX cable, plugged it back in and it booted few times fine. Screwed everything together and then it wouldnt boot. Took side off, and now it seems that when I push down on the ATX cable in the mobo, it powers and the fan starts spinning, but when I don't push down it shuts off. I'm not pressing the power button attached to the mobo header either.
Guesses? Any chance a short on the bottom is causing it? I have standoffs everywhere but it seems a tad flimsy still.
