Hey guys,

USPS dropped off my 1GB 8800GT today, and I installed it in my box with the existing 8800GTS..I removed Nvidia drivers, and reinstalled 197.45 Drivers for Win 7 64....

Install was a breeze, Nvidia Control Panel shows both cards, with SLI disabled (I would think so considering this is a 890GFX board;))...I removed my existing GPU client, and reinstalled following this guide.

I started both GPU clients, configured them with Machine IDs 2 n 3 (MI 1 is my SMP Client)...Here is where it get's strange...Both clients show the hardware being used as my 8800GT, not the 8800GTS on the 2nd GPU client..GPU-Z shows my 8800GT loaded @ 98% and my GTS sitting idle...both log files show an argument of using GPU-0 and GPU-1, and that they have DL'd and are processing a WU...Here is the logfile of client 1..

Does that seem like everything is running normal?

Both of those clients are showing -gpu 1 as the argument. Make separate shortcuts for each client and add -gpu 0 and -gpu 1 to the target boxes in the shortcut properties.

I'm a dumbass, and accidently copied the same logfile twice..I updated it the client log that shows the -GPU 0 Flag...According to HFM.NET, both are chugging along, one at ~4300 PPD and one at ~3400 PPD...The funny thing is that it's reporting both are working on the same WU...?

Could simply be explained that Stanford sent both clients the same WU. Just to be sure, check the shortcuts to see they are pointing to different client directories.

Same PRCG for both clients. Close them both down, delete queue.dat from both directories, and start them both up again.

That happens to me on occasion as well. People here stated it doesn't matter, that the results could still benefit Stanford and that we receive credit for them anyway. /shrug

I closed both down, verified that each is pointing to different directories, deleted queue.dat and restarted...Success! Thanks for all the quick info...It just seemed awful funny they both had the same WU...

Now onto other matters...I have the orginal Koolance Exos system, and just found out I can reuse one of the two blocks I have with a pair of $4 adapters from Koolance...I know this is the older unit, but what do all you H50 guys think would perform better? I wanna get as much heat out of the Antec 900 as possible..I cannot go full water at the moment so...

The H50 works better when it pulls air into your case. If you are trying to get heat out of the case I'd use the Exos.
