Need headphones

OK heres the situation...I play Call of Duty on PS3 late on into the night and my wife makes me turn off the speakers so that the dog doesnt wake up...(I know I have whip marks on my back...j/k) anyway I'm in the hunt for a descent pair of headphones that will still give me the sense of Surround Sound...

I have a pair of motorola bluetooth headphones (model ht500?? maybe not sure of the model number but they are the ones that go over your ears and around the back of your head) Anyways....i like having the freedom of wireless but the sound quality in these things suck...

I need a nice pair of headphone wired or wireless so i can play without making any noise...

If i go with a pair of 900mhz headphones are they gonna sound bad and/or have a low battery life?

I was also looking at the grado sr60's but i heard that pretty much anyone within a 20 foot range could hear what was being played through the headphones...

I'm not looking to spend more than about $100...any help/advice/recommendations would be greatly appreciated....thanks in advance!!!

Sorry, I don't really know much about wireless. I had a pair of wireless sony's before and I really couldn't stand the static anymore. Sorry, my knowledge is extremely limited in the wirelss headphones range. I know Sennheiser has a wide range of wirelss, though I don't know the quality. Sorry I couldn't be of more help.
 
OK I'm kind of debating on these three

DT770 - apparently similar to the ATH-A700s but with deeper base and a little less quality on lows and mids?

ATH-A700 - all around seem to be best bang for the buck especially for gaming surround

ATH-A900 - Anyone know if there is a noticeable difference between this and the 700?
 
ok sorry...i see the DT770's are in the 225+ range...too rich for my blood...

its between the ATH-A700 and the ATH-A900s
 
The A900s will have better bass and more extension aka more sound. Worth the $50? Sure it is almost Christmas after all lol.

The A900s have long been regarded as THE gaming headphone although I do not exactly agree with that I will say they are damn good unamped.
 
I dont need any more responses... I went with the ATH-A700's thank you eveyone for your help!!!:)
